Testing Documentation & Quality Assurance — Clone Source

What Clone Source can document today: HLVd-tested flags across all 39 catalog records, a 3-pathogen PCR mother-stock panel, and per-order documentation available before fulfillment.

Documentation Over Badges

This page states what Clone Source can currently document about its testing program. We do not claim accreditations or certifications we cannot verify, and we name no laboratory partners on this page because none are confirmed for publication.

What Is Documented

  • Record-level status: all 39 cataloged strain records carry an HLVd-tested flag in our production inventory record (August 2026).
  • Screening panel: molecular PCR screening for HLVd (Hop Latent Viroid), Fusarium, and Pythium on mother stock.
  • Per-record documentation: current testing documentation tied to the specific mother-stock or batch record is available on request before you order.
  • Guarantee terms: the IPM disease-free guarantee and its claim window are defined in the current order terms supplied with each order.

Method Summary

Mother stock is sampled against identified plant or batch records and processed by PCR for the three targets above. A result applies to the submitted sample; sample identity, collection date, method, and interpretation come from the testing record itself. Screening is one layer — provenance, sanitation, quarantine-on-arrival, and recordkeeping complete the program. Full detail is on the testing methodology page.

Requesting Documentation
